Google home is speeking dutch now.
Time to buy a smart speaker. To test everything I bought the cheapest one, the mini.
Installing the speaker is easy. Just install google home on your phone and start the installation.
When the speaker is connected to the wifi you can start using it. You can play music, schedule a meeting, weatherforcast,… But I want to connect google home to domoticz.
To start switching your lights with voice commands you have to create an account on https://www.controlicz.com/ .
The cheapest subscription is 20€ for a year.
When you created your account you have to create a https connection to your domoticz.

Domoticz has native HTTPS / SSL support.
The https port is defined in /etc/init.d/domoticz.sh

-sslwww port (for example, -sslwww 443). https runs by default. Set port to 0 to ensure https socket won’t be open.
-sslcert file_path (for example, -sslcert “D:\server_cert.pem” or -sslcert /opt/domoticz/server_cert.pem)
If no –sslcert parameter is provided, Domoticz will use a default SSL certificate “server_cert.pem” from its installation folder (emitted for domoticz.com). This default certificate will generate a security warning in your browser. But don’t care. Accept the certificate and this browser won’t bother you anymore.
Domoticz should be now available on https://my_domain_name.com

Now you make sure controlicz can access your domoticz from outside your lan.
So forward the correct ports in your router.
Or when you have domoticz installed on your synology you can use the dns service from synology.

Now fill in the settingspage on controlicz.
You can test your settings with the yellow button.

when this is done, you will see your lights appear in controlicz. When you don’t see your devices, you have to go back to domoticz and add your devices to a room!

now you to go backt to your phone and the google home app.
There you add the controlicz app and your lights will appear.
